This is the essence of our work at La Nuy Foundation. As a charity organization in California, our reach extends from the vibrant communities of California to the farthest corners of Asia. Our initiatives are as diverse as the challenges we aim to conquer: from funding education to providing critical healthcare, building infrastructure, and ensuring nutritional support. Each program represents our commitment to not change lives and transform futures.
Education
Acting in the heart of Asia, where educational opportunities are often a distant dream for many, La Nuy Foundation has been a catalyst for change. Our education initiatives focus on breaking the barriers that prevent children from accessing their right to learn. We fund complete educational journeys, from elementary school to college, ensuring that financial constraints never hinder a child's potential.
One of our most impactful stories comes from a small village in Vietnam. Here, we sponsored a school, equipping it with the necessary resources and teachers. The result was transformative – a 100% increase in enrollment and a newfound enthusiasm for learning among the children. Girls, who previously had limited access to education, are now attending school at equal rates as boys, building gender equality.
These successes are a mere glimpse into how our educational programs are creating ripples of positive change, upholding children’s rights in Asia and shaping a new generation of empowered individuals.
Healthcare
La Nuy Foundation's healthcare projects stand at the forefront of tackling some of the largest global issues. In developing countries, where access to basic healthcare is often a luxury, we have stepped in to fill the gap. Our annual health check-up initiative demonstrates this effort, ensuring that thousands of individuals receive essential medical evaluations and treatments they would otherwise go without.
In rural Indonesia, our impact has been particularly profound. Last year alone, over 5,000 individuals received free health check-ups and medications, many for the first time in their lives. This program has led to a significant decrease in common yet preventable diseases within these communities. Mothers and children, the most vulnerable groups, have benefitted immensely, witnessing a marked improvement in their overall health and well-being.
They represent lives changed, pain alleviated, and a step towards a healthier future for communities that had been neglected for far too long.
Infrastructure
At La Nuy Foundation, we recognize that infrastructure is the backbone of community development. Our projects in building orphanages, schools, and hospitals are not just constructions; they are beacons of hope and centers of growth. In countries where children often find themselves without a safe shelter, our orphanages are a haven. One of our hallmark projects is a multi-functional community center in a remote area of Nepal. This center, which includes a school, a healthcare facility, and a safe space for children, has become a hub of community activities.
